Funded / Prop Firms
Funded challenges & evaluations
Prop (proprietary trading) firms let you trade a funded account after passing an evaluation, splitting profits with you. They differ hugely in rules, drawdown models and payout conditions — small print, not marketing, decides whether an account is worth it.

Frequently asked
- Are prop firm profits guaranteed?
- No. You must pass the evaluation and keep trading within the rules, and there is no guarantee you will ever reach a payout. Treat the evaluation fee as a cost at risk.
- What usually breaks a funded account?
- Hitting the daily loss limit or the max/trailing drawdown, breaking a consistency rule, or prohibited strategies (some ban news trading or copy trading). Read the rulebook, not the landing page.
